When I was a student nurse #2

I enjoyed assisting a woman in giving birth. We are required to handle 5 cases in child delivery and those were some of the memorable events during my student days.

Every thing was paid off. Being the first to hold the child and feel his/her body's warmth is something fulfilling. Hearing the first cry, a tearjerker. Those tiny little hands, reaching someone to ensure safety, feels like you want to have a baby soon.

People asked me many times before, "How does it feel to assist in giving birth? It looks nasty."
Yes. Expect it to be bloody and smelly around the delivery area, but you'll enjoy it once you hold the baby for the first time. Remember the byword "Life is a gift."? You can totally say it when you experience what I did. A present for his/her parents, a beautiful present.
